the Lola
Lola the English Bulldog - in all of her black and white glory !! Shot on Fuji Acros and Stand developed in Rodinal for 60 minutes.
the Lola.
Sitting on the couch - the dog Lola jumped up to view the scene outside the window. There was nothing there to see - and her head was about 12" from mine. I grabbed the iPhone 7 and opened KitCam and took this. I got as close as I could to keep the scene as shown.
Lola - the English Bulldog - iPhone7
-- the Lola --
Shot on the F100 with film which did funny things during development. I have a feeling it was mis labeled as it sure looks like 3200 to me. Self development results are sometimes very surprising.
-- Penelope --
M's sister's English Bulldog - while we were in Northern Idaho on a camping trip. She's about 60lbs. and is a beast - but a friendly, gentle, nice beast. We have here sister, Lola - and she's just the same in her actions !
Shot with the Nikon 1 V1 and the 30-110mm. - I know -- digital... how weird ?!?
the Bulldogs
Shot in April on the Rollei 6008i before I sent it in for repair. It arrives home on Wednesday; I can't wait -- but I digress. These two dogs are sisters -- Lola and Penelope. We have the Lola and she's a barrel of fun, and Penelope is with my sister in-law.
Developed and scanned in-house.
Timeless without the Cars
Here's Lola again - with my wife Madeline. When Lola was around 10lbs.
I love this image - combined with the look of film this brings me to a "Madmen" type scene -- with the hat and film base it looks like something from the fabulous 1950's.
No lies here -- I don't know how fabulous the 50's really were as I wasn't born yet -- but I can't get over the nostalgia this image brings. Too bad the cars are in the background - else it would have been timeless.
This is Kodak's Portra 400. For its skin tone rendering - it has no peer.
Self developed with a C-41 Tetenal Kit - no crop.
Nikon F100 - 50mm f1.4 - Kodak Portra 400, Tetenal C-41 Kit
the Lola - she's not a showgirl
The English Bulldog who joined us mid April. She's been a ball of fun - farts a lot and can let out a belch after drinking a bowl of water which would make a Frat House proud.
She's now twice this size of 10lbs.
You go Girl !!!
