I just re-discovered my 50mm 1.4. A kit lens no less with my mostly retired FM-2 of the early 1980's fame. Wide open it's a little foggy - but stopped down it really shines.

The calm before the storm revealed some ideal sun reflecting off of the Salt Lake City State Capitol building - I couldn't resiste making the climb and waiting about 30 minutes to make this photo.

I've just switched to SquareSpace - and have purchased the url jsturr.com.

As I become more versed with this system I hope this will become more intersting.

The following picture was shot at my place of work - www.ffkr.com - where I volunteered
to take head shots of the company. Two strobes, with one of those with an umbrella
attached. Nikon D2h with 80-200mm AF-s at around 80mm. I was about 10 feet away.
